Deck
- deck covers are common
amongst one-design boats for both travel and protection from the elements during
extended regattas. We can fabricate them in acrylic, polyester, and vinyl as per
the particular application.
Hull
- hull covers will soon be
readily available online for the laser, optimist, and sunfish class dinghies.
We can also make hull covers for any boat normally trailered upside down, e.g.
canoes, skiffs, etc. On occasion we’ll actually make a hull cover for boats
BEFORE loading on the trailer upright for protection while in transit.
Winter
- this type of winter cover
guarantees access to the boat during the winter on deck, with the added benefit
of impeding snow buildup by virtue of its tent-like design. These can be made
with rig up or down, and comprise of a spine and rib framework fully supporting
the canvas from stem to stern. They are the most expensive of our winter covers
but yet the most economical when factored against the enormous cost of
shrink-wrapping year after year for such a large boat. Normally priced by the l.o.a. and beam measurements of your boat.
-these offer an
affordable, yet durable alternative to the full-on winter cover, still letting
one get below-decks to work inside, but the forward deck is covered with no
access. A mooring pole is placed in the cockpit area to prevent snow buildup.
With Mast Section
-we can either duplicate
your existing cover , or measure it ourselves, or have you fill out our
measurement form to fabricate these. We can install graphics to your
specifications as well.
Horseblanket Style
-this style is for racing
sailors that routinely roll their mainsail and lash to the boom. We have a
variety that still wraps around the mast for added stability, and a regular
blanket-style for draping over the sail.
Headsail
- these are the
traditional custom bag usually of sunbrella that is made to enclose the jib as
it is furled down, and still attached to the headstay.
-our jib socks have a
nylon-lined pocket at the bottom end to allow for stowage of the entire sock
when not in use. D-rings sewn in w/webbing on the forward end of the sock allow
for easy hoisting while the zipper is aft. Large headsails may require 2 long
zippers.
Wheel/Pedestal
-these are custom
fabricated covers made to account for drink-holders, navigation equipment, etc.
that are different with every owner.
Lifeline
-give us the distances between life-line stanchions and we’ll make your
lifeline covers with high quality 2” closed cell foam with a rigid poly core
to prevent chafing against the foam. Covered with either fleece or
sunbrella of your color choice.
